Macarons with Honey Buttercream Filling


I’ve always wanted to try making these macarons but almond flour isn’t that available here in my country I did find one but it was quite expensive so I decided to do some research and I was surprised that you just needed to ground some almonds and you’re set. This is my second time making them as I failed the first one, it tasted like a macaron but it didn’t looked like it so I decided to try again. There are many more flavors to choose from but I went with a simple honey buttercream filling.

Since I have some leftover egg whites from making that pastry cream for my Cream Puffs I made some meringue out of it since no ingredients should be wasted :P. I prefer my meringues with the mallowy inside while the outside is crispy. It’s quite easy to make this but the main ingredient is TIME since to achieve that, it will take quite a while.

Mini Cream Puffs


I keep seeing videos on how to make eclairs and I decided to create one since I’ve never really made one and the only eclairs i had was from Dunkin’ Donuts. I decided why not try making one and see how it goes. My eclairs failed and well it didn’t quite get big it just got hard and it looked like biscuits, the taste on the other hand was really nice though and it kinda taste like that eggnog cookies  from the Philippines which I really liked when I was a kid.
